Do I require a Shippo account to use ReturnPilot?
Yes. Your Shippo account is used to manage carrier accounts, fetch rates and purchase shipping labels.
ReturnPilot interfaces with your account to automate the process of your returns.
If you do not currently have a Shippo account, ReturnPilot will guide you through the process of creating one.
Which e-commerce platforms do you support?
We support Shopify, Squarespace and WooCommerce.
Can I use my existing Shippo account?
Yes. When onboarding with ReturnPilot, simply sign-in to your Shippo account, and ReturnPilot will use that account.
Can I use a provider other than Shippo?
At this time, ReturnPilot does not offer the option of using another provider for rate fetching and shipping label creation.
How does pricing work on ReturnPilot?
ReturnPilot operates on a pay-as-you-go pricing model. You are only charged when a customer initiates a return.
When this occurs, you pay for the shipping label and carrier service (billed via your Shippo account).
You also pay a small transaction fee that ReturnPilot charges in order to maintain the service.
Can I choose which carriers I want to use?
Absolutely. Indeed, after creating your Shippo account one of the first things you should do is select your desired carriers through your Shippo account.
Can I use ReturnPilot for international returns?
At this time, ReturnPilot does not support shipping between countries owing to the complexity of documentation, tariffs and duties that may be imposed.
Can I add orders manually to ReturnPilot?
Yes, you can add orders from the 'orders' section of your account. It functions the same way as an automated integration, including automatic sending of return links.

Is there an easy way to import my catalogue of products?
Absolutely. You can use our CSV tool to bulk import up to 50,000 products. When using a storefront plugin, products will be automatically imported for each order they are part of.
Do you have a developer API I can use?
Yes, ReturnPilot offers a REST-ful API that you can use to add orders and products to your account.
Supporting the growth of your business is our top priority, and our pricing reflects that. You won't find any hidden charges or confusing rules. Just a single fee alongside the cost of your items being shipped.
Shipment fees are billed separately through your Shippo account, or directly by the carrier. These fees will vary depending on the package count & size, distance being traveled, and the chosen service level.
3% of shipment fee or $2.50
